About Us

Sally Watson                         Maggie Shannon

Skyline consists of Maggie Shannon and Dr Sally Watson. Our work together began in 2007 when we devised and implemented a ground-breaking programme ‘Leading from the Middle’ to support cultural change and organisational development. With Sally’s experience as Director of Executive Education at the Management School at Lancaster University, and Maggie’s background as a leader and coach in social housing we have combined to deliver leadership and development programmes in health, housing, education and other sectors with excellent results. The outcomes from our workshops have helped to focus organisations’ strategic mission, and strengthen team and individual learning.

By drawing on our diverse backgrounds we have developed a collaborative approach which impacts the quality of the learning experience – hence the quality of outcomes for participants and their organisations.

Maggie has experience as both an executive and non-executive director in social housing and is a trustee of a relationship charity. She has an extensive background in social housing, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing. With a post-graduate qualification in business coaching and mentoring from Lancaster University Management School and an ACAS qualification in workplace mediation, she is a skilled facilitator, coach and mentor.

Sally is a leading academic in the field of leadership and management education, and is Visiting Fellow at Lancaster University.
She has worked with many global businesses to transform performance, most recently with an international aid charity. She has a wealth of expertise in designing and delivering leadership development programmes. She initiated and directed the MA in Hospice Leadership at Lancaster University Management School and has worked with a range of health and housing providers in the not-for-profit sector.
